Color is my love through the lens of a camera! I started out with black and white film using a huge Graphic newspaper camera. It was owned by Archbishop Prendergast High School. We had an official dark room fully stocked with trays, chemicals, and a professional enlarger. Sister Nazaretta, IHM, was our moderator and teacher. We developed prints, rolls of film, and took photos for Prendie’s school newspaper.
After graduation, my first camera was a Brownie Camera with color film cartridge and then one of my favorites cameras was an Olympus point and shoot with a great zoom lens 55 to 70 mm. Eventually,
after several cameras over the years, I made it up to a single lens Canon with an interchangeable lens, 55 mm and 300 mm. First it was film and with the Millenium, I switched to digital. What a convenience! What a change! No more rationing my photos, five to a subject. My subjects are lighthouses, clocks, flowers, horses, beaches, the sea, and boardwalks. And don’t forget the people, family, friends, and strangers too. With a family history of Photography, I find I love it till this day, I take a picture of something almost every day, everywhere, everyone knows I’m the picture taker!
